Testing Ecto 3

Not sure how Ecto is going to handle the fact that one login posts to two blogs….where will this show up?

No Friends, No Self-Timer, No Tripod

Actually, I have all three of those things. What I don’t have is patience, space, or a clean and well-lit house.

I also have some infelicities in my photo-importing workflow. Maybe the wireless uploading Eye-Fi card would fix them? Basically, if not for the photo problem, I would have been posting about making long ago.

So this is a blanket apology for all the half-assed pictures you will see posted by me. But I must say, taking a picture of your own back view in a mirror is quite a talent.

This Blog Exists Because I’m Addicted to Feet

Sewing machine feet, that is. I just bought six. Five came with my machine. So that’s eleven, and I just started sewing in February.

So I called my sister, and said, “I need a name for my sewing blog.” And she said, “hey, let’s do a blog together!” “About crafts?”  “Um, not just crafts….” “A little crafts, a little history, a little finance, a little technology?” “Sounds perfect.”

She’s older, I’m younger.

She knits, I sew.

She’s in California, I’m in Oregon.

She’s anti-clutter, I hoard.

She does money, I do history.

She knows about health, I know about Macs.

And here we are. Sisterrific.

Which neither of us can reliably spell right.
